Hi friends! Of all the things I learned from Harry Potter, one of the most important lessons was “No post on Sundays.” So you can imagine my extreme childlike excitement when I woke up this morning, on a Sunday, to discover my winter fabfitfun box had been delivered!
I’ve talked about how much I love this subscription service before, in my spring hits post. And my friends and coworkers are probably sick of hearing me talk about it. But I can’t help it—it’s like my own personal Christmas every season! All of the products are super high quality—I haven’t had to buy an exfoliator or face moisturizer in two years. The brand also shows some major support for female entrepreneurs, as well as for human and animal rights—many of the products featured are from brands created and owned by women, brands that give back to communities, and most, if not all, of the products are fair trade, cruelty free, and often vegan as well.
Each box is $49.99 USD | $64.22 CAD and contains items valued at $200+. And I can tell you that you definitely get your money’s worth! So let’s get to the unboxing, see what we got, and check out the actual value of the winter box!
DISCLAIMER| DOGGO NOT INCLUDED
The values included are in USD
BB Dakota Poncho in black |$70| Right off the bat, we’re over the value of the box. And the poncho is super warm and cozy and since mine is black, it will go with anything!
AHAVA Mineral Hand Cream |$33| Not only does this hand cream smell absolutely amazing, it’s paraben free, cruelty-free, and vegan!
DOUCCE Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette in Nude |$70| This palette is so pretty! It has three mattes and five shimmers, plus a highlighter. The actual palette itself is magnetic, so if you run out of one shade you can just replace that shade instead of buying a whole other palette, or you can project pan it and reuse the empty palette! This brand is also cruelty free, however they don’t have official certification.
Homemade by Ayesha Curry Ceramic Mug |$16| This is probably my favorite item from the winter box. And it might be Dakota’s too. It comes in three styles and I got the teal blue mug with the quote “I’d rather be in bed”, complete with cutesy closed eyes. This is one of those brands curated by a girlboss—a New York Times best selling author, TV Host, restaurateur, chef, and mom.
Kate Somerville ExfoliKate Intensive Exfoliating Treatment |$75| This exfoliant smells unreal—it’s the perfect scent to segue from fall into winter, with notes of papaya, pumpkin, and pineapple. Also cruelty-free!
Pointe Studio Aloe Infused Cozy Socks |$19| Cozy, fuzzy socks! Perfect for Winter. Perfect for Jessica! Seriously, I NEVER want to take these off!
FFFTV Fitness Ball |$16| One of my favorite things about fabfitfun is that they cater to beauty, girlbossing, and fitness and have some great workouts on their fabfitfunTV extension. I’ve actually been looking for an exercise ball this size, so I was ecstatic to get this as a choice item! I can’t wait to use this and try out the new workouts with Jillian Michaels!
8 OTHER REASONS Nine Lives Choker in Rose Gold |$58| A simple, layered choker necklace that is the perfect, girly accent for the oversized, sweater weather.
Nelson j Beverly Hills Moisture Healing Hair Mask—Coconut Scent |$23| I feel like this hair mask is going to do wonders for my frizzy, curly hair. Even if it doesn’t, it smells beautiful! As far as I can tell, this is also cruelty-free—but again, no certification.
This box was not a disappointment! I absolutely love every single item this season. Especially the mug, which will probably be featured heavily on my instagram account, I’m not going to lie. I’m also excited to finally get back into some Sock Sunday Posts!
